Glynn House Inn: “A place you would want to return to.” - Reviewed August 18

Many thanks to our guests from England who took the time to share their experience at the Glynn House with other travelers.  We’re delighted they enjoyed our circa 1895 Victorian home. It affords guests an opportunity to experience the elegance of another century whilst enjoying all the amenities and services expected in the 21st century.  Our cookies and brownies are very tasty too – guests often tell us they’re addictive.

“We arrived at Glynn House on a trip around New York and New England. From the outset, the hosts could not have been more accommodating. We were shown to our room, which was as good as you would expect from the higher end Inns, and thus of a high standard. It is a truly remarkable period property, which has been successfully remodeled into an excellent place to stay in a tranquil environment. As has been said previously, Glynn is a fountain of knowledge about the local attractions and very ready to offer excellent advice. Pam greeted us when we arrived and explained about all that was offered. We would recommend the chocolate chip brownies and the good quality coffee and other refreshments that were available throughout the day.

My wife got an eye infection, and Ingrid was able to offer advice on how we could go about getting the appropriate treatment, given that we were visitors from Europe.

All in all this was a memorable stay and certainly something we would not hesitate to do again.”
Room Tip: They appeared to all be very good.
