“This was one of the pleasantest inns I've visited. Glenn & his English wife immediately made us feel welcome, even catering to our need for really hot water in the morning for our breakfast tea! The room (suite) was spectacular, including jacuzzi etc. Food choice at breakfast was good, and Glenn was a mine of useful information on local attractions, and gave us good advice for our itinerary. 
The local area is beautiful and would bear a much longer stay than we had time for. Limited choice in Ashland for restaurants, but the Common Man was one of the best restaurants we visited in our time in New England.” Room Tip: We were traveling with an aged parent, so watch out for high beds and steep stairs!

Camp is only a short drive from the Inn. During the warmer months, you might want to head across the road for an ice cream and magnificent views of Meredith Bay. Camp is less than 15 minutes from the Inn.

Glynn House Inn: “Foliage getaway to The Glynn House Inn” - Reviewed October 8

Our guest from New Jersey stayed in our largest suite – the safari themed Roosevelt – named after the early 20th century president of the same name. As the review states, the suite is extremely spacious with charming French doors, which separate the bedroom and sitting room. The stone fireplace surround is a hit with many visitors too.  Our Inn is an easy walk to local shops and the popular Common Man restaurant.  The Carriage House, where the Roosevelt Suite is located, is – like the main building – a structure constructed in 1895. It’s only a short 120 walk to the dining room. We have five dog friendly rooms in the building.

“We just returned home from a wonderful stay at the Glynn House Inn in Ashland NH. We stayed in the Roosevelt Suite, which I can’t come up with enough good things to say about our accommodations! The suite was large and beautifully decorated in a fun and tasteful Safari theme with a great working fireplace. I loved, loved, loved the French doors leading to the seating area. It was so inviting! We had our own private entry onto the side of the wraparound porch with comfortable seating with lovely trees in the surrounding area. Our bedroom and bathroom was luxurious yet comfortable; we could even see the fireplace from our bedroom through the French doors! Everything was super clean and the bathroom was modern yet not trendy. The suite is located in the Carriage House behind the main building. When I initially booked it, I did not realize we were in the carriage house, but in reality, I thought it was perfect! It was set back from the main street and felt so private. The Inn is within walking distance to the center of town, which was great!! We absolutely loved everything about the Glynn House and can’t wait to return for another stay! I recommend The Glynn House Inn to anyone who has the opportunity to stay there. You can’t go wrong! Thank you - John and Maribel Mota”

The Lincoln Garden Apartment has been incredibly popular since July 2013 release. The fully equipped kitchen provides the option of eating in. The king bed, which can be split into two singles, affords lots of flexibility. The garden provides a comfortable and private place to dine or chat. The option of having breakfast with other Inn guests provides a nice alternative for those who want a gourmet breakfast but don’t want to cook.

“An old college friend and I spent a leaf-peeping week-end at Glynn House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We chose the Lincoln Garden Apartment because we wanted something spacious, and were extremely pleased. The apartment was newly furnished, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Breakfast in the main house was delicious, and Glenn was a most gracious host: very attentive and helpful in giving us driving directions and suggestions on how to spend our time efficiently. “A little Glimpse of paradise” :Reviewed September 23, 2013
"Just back from a great holiday with my sister and her husband to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. We took in Boston, Cape Cod and finally New Hampshire. I can safely say that we kept the best to last. Our stay in Glynn House was simply magical and perfect for the occasion. We were meant to stay for one night but it was so lovely that we stayed an extra night. The house has been beautifully restored in keeping with the period and the room that we had, namely The Taft Room, was spacious, romantic and stunning with a gorgeous four-poster bed, beautiful fireplace with cosy chairs, a shower and separate toilet. The room was very well equipped with flat screen cabled TV,DVD, free WiFi etc and complimentary sweets and chocolates.
We really were bowled over by Glen and Pam's hospitality. They gave us such a warm welcome on arrival and subsequently provided the perfect start to the day with a deliciously ubiquitous home cooked breakfast. Glenn had plenty of well-considered and thoughtful advice on how to maximise our time sightseeing in what is a spectacular part of the world. I can't provide enough superlatives to describe our experience. 
The only down side was that we ran out of time. We will definitely return to Glynn. Thank you Glenn and Pam for sharing your beautiful inn with us.”

"We found this lovely Inn with a block of rooms for people with dogs! They are VERY accommodating and knowledgeable about the area.
