Glynn House Inn: Summer Sounds at the Great Waters Music Festival

New Hampshire’s Lakes Region comes alive with music each summer. The Meadowbrook Cellular Pavilion, Flying Monkey Performance Center, Capitol Center for the Arts, New Hampshire Music Festival, Wolfeboro Folk Concert Series and the Great Waters Music Festival http://www.glynnhouse.com/area/id10.htm.  Each offer visitors a wide range of artists and genres at reasonable prices.

Great Waters Music Festival was founded in 1995. The non-profit summer festival was organized to encompass a diversified program designed to appeal to a variety of musical tastes, both classical and popular, and to bring together outstanding amateur and professional musicians. Its purpose is to promote live musical performances including choral, symphonic, folk, pops, jazz, Broadway, dance, and renowned vocal and instrumental artists. Prior to the 2011 season, concerts took place in the acoustic pavilion located on the shores of beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro. The Festival moved performances indoors to the beautiful Kingswood Arts Center in Wolfeboro.

The 2012 Great Waters Music Festival Headliner Series offers a delightful program that will appeal to varied musical tastes, and brings together a group of outstanding musicians. Patrons will appreciate the Kingswood Arts Center. This summer’s schedule http://www.glynnhouse.com/calendar/ includes Neil Berg’s 101 Years of Broadway (back by popular demand); the United States Coast Guard Dixieland Jazz Band; Great Waters Music Festival Chorus & Orchestra (Bach to Bernstein); Andy Cooney, Forever Irish; The Masters of Motown; and The Manhattan Transfer.
