Glynn House Inn: A Few Good Men – May 24th – 26th

As the audience watches A Few Good Men www.glynnhouse.com/calendar/#may_2012_1, they stand in the shoes of two Marines, Lance Corporal Harold W. Dawson and PFC Louden Downey, who are on trial for the murder of one of their platoon members. Rookie Navy lawyer Lieutenant Daniel Kaffee expects a plea bargain and cover-up of what really happened. But, prodded by a tenacious female member of his defense team, Lieutenant Commander Joanne Galloway Kaffee eventually makes a valiant effort to defend his clients and, in doing so, he also puts the Marine code of honor on trial. This Broadway hit, filled with suspense and doses of wisecracking humor, is based on actual events at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and raises questions about the meaning of honor, dignity and humanity in an increasingly complex world. Don't miss a wonderful evening of theatre at the Rochester Opera House.
