This indie-rock band was founded in the small town of Amesbury, Massachusetts by high school friends. Brothers Chris and Joe Plante joined guitarist Dave Drouin and drummer Kelly Kane in 2002. Kane left the band in 2012 and was replaced by longtime fan and drummer Aaron Zaroulis. Opening for Bruce Hornsby in 2006, the band met Bobby Read, producer and saxophonist for Hornsby’s band. On the spot, they decided to do a record with Read, resulting in 2008’s Back to the Woods, with singles like “Chance Reaching” (still spinning on Sirius XM radio) lifted the band to national exposure. The Brew’s www.glynnhouse.com/calendar/#july_2013 2011 release of A Garden in the Snow yielded “When Darkness Comes,” now spinning on AAA radio stations across the country.
