Glynn House Inn: Lady Luck Burlesque – Tonight

Burlesque www.glynnhouse.com/calendar/#june_2012_1_1 is coming back to The Music Hall after a century-long hiatus. In the early 1900’s, Burlesque shows such as Henry E. Dixey’s Big Burlesque Co. and The Monte Carlo Burlesque Show played The Music Hall regularly. The scene then suddenly seemed to come to a screeching halt - the last known Burlesque show took the stage in 1910. Bettcher’s “Puttin’ On The Ritz” is a production that tips a hat to Broadway and the 1920s era, and truly embraces Burlesque’s many diverse forms. With over 20 acts, a full band, and polished choreography, Bettcher believes that this show is “truly not to be missed.”
