“My wife and I stayed here for three nights in the Jefferson Suite on the third (top) floor. It was a wonderful experience. A very large room and what seemed to be a brand new (and very expensive) mattress on the bed. Every morning there was a choice of two breakfast items and they never duplicated. Glenn, the owner, went out of his way to make recommendations based on our interests and has a supply of discounted tickets to most attractions. We peeped in the other rooms and all of them looked inviting. Ashland itself is a charming place, and gives a wonderful flavor of true New England. (Final note: we stayed there two days before the hurricane it.
