Skid Row floral attendant, Seymour, contentedly attends to an exotic plant that he has named Audrey II in honor of the love of his life, Audrey. Seymour soon discovers that this is no ordinary plant as it grows into an ill tempered, foul-mouthed, R&B singing carnivore with a craving for blood. Finally revealing its true identity, Audrey II offers Seymour fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its voracious appetite.
